Clearance to proceed for Norwegian Sea wildcat

A/S Norske Shell has just received clearance from the Norwegian Petroleum Directorate to drill an exploration well in the Norwegian Sea, 40 km (25 miles) northwest of the deepwater Ormen Lange gas field.
The Saipem’s owned semisubmersible Scarabeo 8 ultra-deepwater 6th generation semi-submersible drilling rig will drill well 6304/3-1, after completing another wildcat for Shell. PL 832 covers the southern part of blocks 6404/12 and 6406/10 and the northern part of block 6305/1.
