Pacific Drilling’s Pacific Bora drillship chartered by ENI for Nigeria offshore drilling

Agip Exploration – an ENI’s subsidiary – has chartered Pacific Bora drillship, a sixth generation deepwater vessel, capable of operating in water depths up to 10,000 feet and drilling wells more than 37,000 feet deep. The contract is expected to start in mid to late November 2018. It is valued $9 million for one well, but Agip will have two additional option wells too. The drillship is currently located offshore Abidjan, Côte d’Ivoire.
