Terje Leinebø Moe
EQUINOR ASA (NORWAY)


Terje Leinebø Moe is a Senior Valve Specialist at Equinor (former Statoil), holds two degrees – civil and petroleum technology – from Stavanger Engineering Scool and has 34 years of experience in the valve and instrumentation arena.

His career started in 1980, as Instrument Engineer and Manager at A.S. Scanarmatur (Norway), where he became responsible for sales and marketing, contract negotiations, suppliers’ follow-up and day-to-day business with local clients.
Within the same group he worked, in 1991 and 1992, for Scanarmatur Denmark as Offshore Manager for numerous projects (Maersk, Dong and Shell), involving valves and actuator.
From 1992 till middle of 2005 he worked, covering different roles, in other companies (Honeywell Denmark, Moveld Valves BV, Fuglesands Ltd, Midco Norway, Gram Engineering & Consultants AS, Sørco AS VN. Alliance, ABB Haugesund, Aker Kværner) where he offered his services in valve and piping disciplines, engineering, specifications write-up, products’ and suppliers’ selection and bid clarifications.

In June 2005 he joined STATOIL ASA, as Piping Engineer and Valve Specialist and Valve Tech Principal Engineer.
From July 2014 he is heading, within Equinor, the Project Valve Group (PVG) and is responsible, with his team of valve and actuator engineers, for all valve orders on Equinor greenfield and brownfield projects.
