Jannicke Schei Stornes is currently working as a principal engineer in Equinor, and has 22 years of experience in the company from both Operations, Technical Integrity and Corporate support.
Jannicke is author of several of Equinors internal Technical requirements and she has extensive experience with valves, actuators and field instrumentation. She is a TUV certified Functional safety engineer and well versed with SIL follow up in operations, and associated root cause analysis on the equipment failing.
She has contributed to corporate investigations, and is especially passionate about the work of preventing major accidents.
She is participating in the ISO 12490 and API 6DX Work groups, the IOGP S-707 (Actuators for On-off valves) and the S-730 (Flanged Steel Pressure Relief Valves) work.
