The United States has overtaken Russia as the leading oil exporter to Europe, with Norway and Saudi Arabia following closely behind. In Italy, Iraq has emerged as the primary oil supplier, witnessing a 15% increase in exports between 2021 and early 2023. Additionally, oil imports from the United States to Italy have seen a significant surge, rising by 140%, which positions the U.S. among the top five oil-exporting countries to Italy.
