Lundin exceeds expectations

The Alta field discovered offshore Norway in 2014 is showing better than expected developments, turning it into one of the most promising project in the area. Lundin Norway AS reports that on tests the well flowed at equipment-limited rates of 7,500 b/d of oil over 30 days and as much as 18,000 b/d during a second period of 25 flowing days. Lundin operates the well with a 40% working interest, whereas DEA Norge and Idemitsu Petroleum Norge hold 30% interests each.
