ENI to increase LNG production in Congo

Eni has signed an agreement for the construction of its second floating liquefied natural gas (FLNG) facility in the Republic of Congo.
The FLNG facility is in line with Eni’s gas valorisation plan in Congo’s offshore and is part of the Italian company’s efforts to maximize its gas operations in Congo, both for domestic use and for export, to meet the growing energy demand in Europe.
The new FLNG facility will join Export LNG, which Eni acquired from shipping company Exmar in August 2022.
