QatarEnergy and TotalEnergies Sign Long-Term LNG Supply Agreements with France

Affiliates of QatarEnergy and TotalEnergies have entered into two long-term LNG sale and purchase agreements (SPAs) for the supply of up to 3.5 million tons per annum (MTPA) of LNG from Qatar to France. According to these agreements, LNG shipments will be transported by ship to the Fos Cavaou LNG receiving terminal in southern France, and deliveries are set to commence in 2026, spanning a 27-year term.

The LNG volumes will be drawn from joint ventures between QatarEnergy and TotalEnergies, which have stakes in Qatar’s North Field East (NFE) and North Field South (NFS) projects.
