Syed Nisar is an Instrumentation Engineering Specialist from Saudi Aramco, and has been working with Aramco’s central engineering process automation group in Saudi Arabia. Prior to joining Aramco, he spent early years of his career working for a renowned control valves, actuators and process automation solutions provider. Syed has approximately 20 years of experience in instrumentation (design, innovation, standards development, projects & operations support). He is a voting member in IOGP technical committee for valve actuators. He has a B.E. in Instrumentation and a Graduate Diploma in Robotics & Automation from Swinburne University, Australia. In addition, he is also a Certified Functional Safety Engineer from TUV Rheinland. Syed currently resides in Dhahran, Saudi Arabia, with his wife and children. He enjoys spending time with family & friends, and playing tennis & cricket.
